Embedded systems?
What are embedded systems?
This is a broad term to describe any system which is controlled by a microprocessor. i.e. It may not look like a computer, but it has an 'embedded' computer at its heart controlling its operation. e.g. Washing machine, central heating controller, Hot tub controller, automotive engine management system, audio system.
We are specialists in this technology and its application. We also apply a minimalist approach to design. Almost always, the best designs are the most simple and elegant for their function.
This doesn't mean we are stuck in the past - we will use the latest devices when they are best for the job, not because they are the latest devices.
